Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sir, I am 74. I have sugar for the past 10+ years. I was taking Glycozide M Forte before BF and Glycozide M before dinner and the level was in control. But for the last four months my sugar level has gone up to 136/268. Can I take Glycomet 250 before lunch? Pl. advice. I had Hernia surgery in last November.
Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, I think before you start to take some medication at lunch time try to figure out what is causing your imbalance, probably a diet change, some current infection process( check your skin, mouth, genital area sometimes exist a hidden process that leads to high level of sugar) are you drinking some new medication like steroids? stressed? if everything thing is normal then you can consider and extra doses of your regular medication.I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
