Can Gudcef-200 Syrup Be Given To A Child Running A Temperature Of 99.1F?

Hi Doctor, My 5 years 4 month child was getting a cough from yesterday morning and in evening got temperature 99.2 in night so give p-500 syrup 3.5 mg and Ambrolite-D syrup. so he was felling well till now, but again fever came with temperature 99.1 so is it safe to give him Gudcef-200 sysrup, because last month with same symptoms doctor recommended the same.

Hello,

You can give but it is to be given according to the body weight like 5mg /kg every 12th hourly.

If symptoms not improved or found any allergic reaction to the drug you have to consult your doctor immediately he will examine and treat you accordingly.
