Can HCG Shots To Lose Weight Show Positive Result On Pregnancy Test?
I was doing the HCG shots to lose weight but I stop the injections last Saturday. I was supposed to get my period this past monday and now im 6 days behind on my period. I took a pregnancy test and it showed positive. Could that really be the results or could the HCG have any effect on this

Dear madam,I understand your concern.In my opinion the positive result in the test might be due due to HCG.The hope urine test is based on HCG only.The test detects HCG in urine.But if you have participated in intercourse these days we cannot definitely say what gave the result.So i would suggest you to consult a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound done after 15 days to know the diagnosis
