Can HIV Be Contracted Through Smoking Up With The Same Paper?

Thanks I have been snorting 2 days ago a bit of coke with a gay friend sharing the same dollar bill, he recently had sexual contacts unprotected and will get tested for HIV, so i do not know if he has hiv or not. I did not see blood on the dollar bill I believe but not totally sure.. and my nose did not bleed during that night. Should I be worried of getting HIV infected, and I presume being on the 3rd day it is starting to be late to take Prep therapy. Thanks

Hello,

unprotected anal contact is the most risky sexual act for contracting HIV. The commonly used paper does not pose a risk though. Prophylaxis is considered up to three days after the contact.

Contact me again, if you'd like further information or guidance. I'll be glad to help!

Kind Regards!
