Hi, i had unprotected sex less than 24 hours ago. Sex included kissing, rubbing and oral sex, Penetration was about 10 - 20 seconds and only one time insertion. I was the incertive partner and there was no ejaculation. Is it a high change that i get hiv from my partner?

Hello,

There is a great probability of contracting HIV if you have unprotected intercourse with an infected person. You should go to the hospital immediately for Prep therapy in order to prevent HIV infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
