Hi Doctor, thank you for your time. my question is : Can HIV be transmitted through a needle prick? my friend was doing and at home HIV test and she used the pricker (the device in the kit which is used to prick the finger).After she pricked herself the pricker accidentally pricked me. no blood came from my skin but the prick still hurt. can I get HIV int his manner? thank you

if the person is infected than there is chance of hiv but it take 3 month to diagnose. it is for precaution not to use
