hello doctor,sir i have problem like this ,once i was going to mumbai by train there i met a girl after she met me two or three time in mumbai and we became friends after spending some time and one day i kissed her very Dipper ,i have problem of mouth bleeding from teeth and i found from some of her friend that she has relation with many person she might has aids also i m in big trouble ,i am in big tence what will be happen to me is it possible that a normal person kiss the aids person and he also got aids if a normal person has bleeding problem from teeth,sir please tell me what should i do?
Hello You were having bleeding from gums ( teeth ) and kissed the suspected girls ( HIV ) . Although saliva in the mouth have some bacteriocidal actions i.e. saliva can kill many bacteria but in your case there was were bleeding so this is a cause of concern. You must be investigated for HIV 1 & 2 with other S T Ds. TRIDOT , ELISA and western blot tests are very effective , While western blot is a specific and most accurate 99.5 % but this should be tested after 2 weeks of contact with an infected person . Antibodies to HIV begins to appear within 2 weeks of infection and time of period between initial infection and the development of detectable antibodies is rarely > 3 months. So deal as mentioned above. Good luck.
