Can Hemostan Be Taken To Stop Menstrual Bleeding?

I m planning on taking Hemostan now because my menstrual cycle has not yet stopped. It has been going on for a week now. Last night no blood was in my sanitary pad, I thought the blood wont be coming out today but it did although it comes in few drops. Will the blood stop from coming tomorrow if I take Hemostan today and tonight?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having active bleeding, hence for that you can start trenexemic acid for that (as you have mentioned drug hemostan can be taken)

In your condition it is advisable to investigate with USG and per speculum examination to rule out organic causes if present

This will help in diagnosing fibroid, endometriosis, ovarian cyst, polyp etc if present so that further treatment plan for that can be decided

If bleeding not stopping and no obvious organic cause present than you might prescribed synthetic progesterone drug like primolute N for that only if needed

Avoid stress and with keeping my answer in mind consult nearby gynecologist for examination

Take care
