Can Hydrocodones Help To Relief Pain After Alcohol Abuse?

I am taking Suboxone for alcohol abuse. I still have hydrocodones in my cabinet from a surgery. I am feeling a lot of pain today and was going to take one, but I'm not sure if it will work because of the Suboxone. Can you shed some light on this please?
