Can Hydrocoele Occur At Both Testicles?

Can Hydrocoele occur at both right or left side of the testes? IF it has occured on one side , DO we need to get second side also operated and checked?



My Child who is around 3yrs and 8 month has been diagnised by 2 surgeons to be suffering from Hydrocoele.

1.No you don't have to get operate both sides, even surgeon will not be doing that.
2.If there is problem one side, only that side its treated.
3.Prior to operation in many cases a scrotal ultrasound is indicated to find out the status.
4.I few patients it occurs both sides in some one side.
