Can I Apply Dologel-CT To My Toddler S Mouth Ulcers While He S Asleep If He Resists During The Day

Hi my son 4 years old has mouth ulcer and blisters in tongue, upper mouth and under gums. he is resistant to apply dologel ct. can i apply while he is sleeping? or should i leave it and not apply. he is active but struggling to eat, but taking fluids and little solid food sometimes.
