Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM
I have read and understood your concern.
Some types of hair loss can be treated but others are permanent and with some, hair may regrow without treatment within a year.Treatment options may include: medications, surgery, laser therapy, and wigs or hairpieces. Some of these options may be used together for better results. You may start with the treatment prescribed by your Doctor and observe. If no improvement, you see a Dermatologist for evaluation and other treatment options. You may as well discuss pregnancy with your Doctor when you want to take in.
The following may help avoid preventable types of hair loss:
-Eat healthy and balanced
-Avoid tight hairstyles, such as braids, buns or ponytails.
-Avoid compulsively twisting, rubbing or pulling your hair.
-Treat your hair gently when washing and brushing.
-Avoid harsh treatments such as hot rollers, curling irons, hot oil treatments and permanents.
Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns.
Best regards
