Can I Be Pregnant After Only 5 Days Of Ovulation Passed?

Hello my name is alicia..I am currently 22 years old and i am trying to conceive my first child. My last period was on 11/30 and me and my fiance had sex on 12/9,12/11,12/12,12/13,and 12/16..I believe I ovulated on 12/13 due to severe pain in my one side and feeling really hot...ever since that day i have had cramping on and off, and my breats feel huge, and severe cramping..I also have been waking up everymorning since that day with a stuffy nose. I am currently only 5 days past ovulation. I am also having severe bloating to the point i cant suck in my stomach. Could i be pregnant?

Hi,

The above symptoms you have mentioned may be signs of implantation. Implantation occurs about 8 to 9 days after fertilization, though it can happen as early as 6 days and as late as 12 days after ovulation. So it could be a little early to say whether you may be pregnant.

You can detect pregnancy earliest with a blood beta hcg hormone test. All the best.
