Can I Can Rely On Leg Braces For Dislocated Knee?

i have dislocated my knee and am in a full leg brace (not bendable). i have to go back to work on saturday, which is a desk job. how do i sit down? i have tried keeping the leg straight by putting it on a chair, bit it is really painful on the back of my knee. please help?
