Can I Conceive Safely While On Obimet SR 500 And Polisitol OD?

Hi doctor, in june my ultrasound reports of lower abdomen showed enlarged size of right ovary n imprssion is of polycystic ovarian disease so from last two months i m taking obimet sr 500 and polisitol od my doctor recomend me these two tablets,i want to know that we r planing for a baby so is their is any complication or sny interference of this medicationin concieving??

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Polycystic ovarian disease causes decreased fertility and difficulty in conceiving as it is known to affect ovulation as well as cause irregular menstruation. Not to worry much as it is treatable disorder.
The medication what you have been given would help to mature and release egg (ovum) in time and also helps in proper preparation of uterus for implantation.
If your cycles are regular, then these medications should help in improving your chances of conceiving.
Also, if you are over weight, kindly reduce your weight and keep a check on it with low carbohydrate diet and moderate regular exercise.
