Can I Concive At The Age Of 49 During Perimenopause?

I have been on the depo shot for years and I have been off the depo now a little for over a year. I m about to be 49 years old and I have had one cycle since I got off the depo which was in October, 2013 do you think my body is getting ready to go through menpause because me and my husband is thinking about conceiving?

Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
At 49 yrs the ovarian function Has to be determined by day 2 ultrasound of ovaries and also blood tests like FSH. Also please remember the chance of downs syndrome is high in elderly mothers . So after you undergo counselling for the Same you can consider pregnancy.
