Genital herpes or herpes progenitalis is a viral disease caused by Herpes simplex virus. It is a localized disease and restricted to genitals only. It does not spread to oesophagus or other organs. So, do not worry. But, it is a recurring disease, so you must take treatment for a long time to prevent the relapses. You also suffer from various psychological diseases. For that, you consult the psychiatrist.
