Can I Get More Knowledge On Symptoms Of Perforated Colon ?

I am a 33 yr. old male. On 3/22/12 I had a colonoscopy done for a suspected polyp . Luckily it turns out I only had external hemroids. Nine days later I came down with a sore throat , nausea, constipation , fever and chills. I am a little concerned, because these are symptoms of a perforated colon. I have not experienced any stomach pain , and after three days my temperature has come back down to normal. though I do still feel nausea. Should I be concerned that my colon may have become perforated during the colonoscopy or am I worrying to much like I sometimes tend to do.

In perforated colon- abdomen will be distended, constipation, pain in abdomen even on respiration or rest , fever, dehydration, toxic, confirm on- CT scan abdomen oral & iv constrast,some times pnumoperitoneum on standing X-Ray chest, nausea may be due to stress gastritis - advice- tablet-Pentaprazole- d ( domperidone ) once daily on empty stomach for 21 days. hope you will enjoy positive health. thank you.
