Can I Get Pregnant If Depo Shot Is Missed?

Hello, I wanted to know, is it possible to get pregnant if you miss the depo shot? I have only been taken the shot for less than a year. And I got off of the shot two shots later, but I had spotting and major cramping. And 6 months later I still haven't had my period. And pregnancy test came up negative

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible to conceive if a dose of the depo is missed.

Pregnancy test can determine pregnancy normally by day 11 to 14 after conception. If you did the test at the appropriate time then it likely accurate.

Some women, after the medication is discontinued, can take a few months before they go back to their normal cycle. This may be the reason the you have not seen your period as yet.

I hope this helps
