Can I Get Pregnant While On Implanon Birth Control Due To The Consumption Of Fluoxetine?

I got pregnant while using the implanon birth control. Is it possible that my fluoxetine made my birth control less effective? I am also taking xyxal for allergies and had the same question. I began both of these medication in August and got pregnant in September.

Hi,dear.The consumption of fluoxetine can reduce the efficacy of you implanon bcoz they are having a negative kind of interaction which means taking fluoxetine reduces the action of your contraceptive.If we talk about xyzal then it is not at all responsible for reducing contraceptive efficency.have a great day.
