Can I Get Pregnant With PCOS?

Hello Doctor, I am diagnosed with PCOS hemorrhagic corpus luteum cyst in Right Ovary about 3.0 X 1.6 X 2.2 Cm (with minimal adnexal free fluid, likely physiologic) I was suffering from irregular periods from very long time (from my first Menstrual cycle), when i have done my ultra sound test i came to know about PCOS. Is it in bad condition? or does it go away by its own? Using birth control pills can fix it? I will be planning for kids in next year until then using birth control pills is a good idea? Chances of getting pregnant low or high?

Hi,

PCOS is not that bad. Birth control pills can help. If severity is high ovarian stimulation is required to get pregnant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
