All questions are important so long as it concerns someone's health.
Saliva is known to contain 
antibodies against 
HIV but infective viral 
strains have not been isolated in the saliva of infected persons unless
that infected person is has wounds or ulcers in the mouth through which 
blood leaks out. 
Only saliva alone, the risk is minimal if not zero and you do not need to 
worry.
However, screening to know one's HIV sero-status is always important to 
guide on what measures to take. So i will recommend you do screening 
even if the risk is minimal at least to be sure and certain of your 
sero-status. An initial testing should be done now, then two others at
three months and at six months.
