Can I Give Liv 52 Or Other Ayurvedic Remedies To Increase An Elderly S Appetite, Despite Taking Multivitamins And Maintaining Sugar Levels?

My father is 67yrs. Diabetic on insulin regular, and basalog with problem of prostate BPH on tab.urimax...he has marked reduction in appetite from last 2 months ...maintaining sugar levels...can i give liv 52 to increase his appetite or some other ayurvedic medicines ..multivitamins he is taking but not taking diet ..plz advice
