Can I Give Meftal P Syrup 3 Hours After P250 If My Son S Fever Hasn T Reduced?

Hi My son age 1year 3months. Has high fever nearing 102F for the past one day. My doctor suggested taking P250 and if the fever doesn t reduce after 2 hrs advised to give meftal p syrup and to take alternately both medicine in a gap of 5 hrs. Now it has been 3 hours after taking p250 the fever doesn t reduced. Can I give meftal in 3hrs gap after p250. How long should I wait to give meftal after giving p250?
