Can I Give Mucolite Drops For Cough?

hi my 1 yr 2 weeks baby has caught severe cough and cold with runny nose.. She has been taking sinarest AF drops for past 3-4 days but no relief. The doctor still wants to continue with sinarest for another 2-3 daysalong with nasoclear. Can I switch to Mucolite drops instead of Sinarest? will that help? Please suggest
