Can I Give My New Born Ambroxol For Cold, Dry Cough, And Dyspnea?

Hi, my daughter is one month old. She suffering due to cold, dyspnea during bath and saliva from mouth, also have dry cough. Doctor give ambroxol hydrochloride half cc. Can i give. And please tell how to identify fever seizure in newborn. I mistakenly given oil bath that cause dyspnea. How I prevent fever to my baby.
