Can I Have A Amusement Park Trip With Irregular Heart Beats?

Every once in a while I can feel what I believe is a skipped, or extra heartbeat. I have no pain or dizziness or shortness of breath along with this. I do suffer from panic/anxiety and I am currently on Xanax for it. I am also on Levothyroxine for Hypothyroidism. My question is this: I have a trip to Cedar Point coming up in August and I want to know if I should be concerned about going on thrill rides and rollercoasters with my family.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Only skipped beats may be ectopic beats or may be related to your anxiety. Or even thyroxine may cause this some times. In such circumstance there is no problem in going for outings and amusement. However you should somehow see your doctor (if not already done so) to be sure that no serious cause is there for your heartbeats as few heart diseases may not allow you stenosis exercise .But I don't think you have any such problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
