Can I Reduce My Duphaston Dosage Instead Of Stopping It?

Hello, I M pregnant 14 week 1 day. I had miscarriage 4 months before when I was 3 months pregnant. My doc prescribed me 2 duphaston daily plus folic acid n aspirin. It s 14 week now but my doc is on leave. I went to another gynecologist n after checking placenta, told me To stop duphaston n folic acid. I M afraid to stop duphaston suddenly, can I reduce duphaston dosage to 1 tablet a day till I C my old doctor? Is it safe???? Please advice....

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Duphaston will not do any harm, and usually supports pregnancy. But I am sure your doctor is the best judge and so I would recommend either discontinuing it as advised by the new doctor or continuing it until you get to meet your usual one.
