Can I Resume Vigorous Physical Activities After Receiving Lateral Infarct In EKG?

I am a 38 yr old male. A few nights back I finished rigorous activity and was lying on my bed. I took a deep breath and at the height of my yawn my heart began fluttering. I immediately began having sweats and my heart was beating quite erratic. I have been sedentary from a military injury a year ago and am trying to get back in shape. My heart beat all sorts of crazy beats for about 30 secs. My wife is a nurse and had me sit with my head tucked to my chest and legs brought up and it stopped. I went to my Dr. office today, and he was out but a NP was filling in. She ordered an EKG. The EKG said there was a lateral infarct. However, she said she didn't believe that to be the case because everything on the right side looked good where that is supposed to be on the EKG. I'm not sure if I should press to have further testing. I had no pain, and have none now. However, I want to ensure I'm not in danger before resuming rigorous activity.

hi
first - wishing u a happy new year
read your query
that is a very interesting question
and i appreciate your problem

i will try my best to answer your query
please do understand that some problem remains as
online texting cuts down history and examination

i wont suggest you start the further vigorous exercises till further testing
a echocardiography, a ct angiogram would be helpful
the best obviously remains coronary angiogram

to clarify, chest pain is not always necessary
the other symptoms you describe are known as atypical symptoms of infarct

i also wonder how accurate your np was.
lateral or medial, right or left, and infarct is an infarct
so i suggest you be serious about getting those tests

i would also suggest you start a combination of ecosprin
and atorvastatin e.g. ecosprin av till the diagnosis is confirmed

an attach should not be left undiagnosed
i suggest you meet another cardiologist fast
if the first cardiologist is out of town

i hope this helps you
best of luck
