Can I Safely Take Regestrone To Delay My Period 6 Months After A C-section?

Hi , I had a c section delivery around 6 months ago . My period begins at 4 months . Now I want to delay my period like 5 to 6 days for my baby s function can I take regestrone for 5 days ? Can we take regestrone to delay periods after a c section delivery

Hi,

You can definitely take Regestrone to delay your periods. C-section is not a contra-indication for this. You may start taking Regestrone 5mg two times daily, 3-4 days prior to your expected date of periods. You should continue to take it till your desired date. You will get your periods 3-5 days after your last dose of Rogestrone.
