Can I Split Monistat-1 Cream Into Smaller Doses To Reduce Burning, And Is Carmex Safe For Relief?

Hi, I m 22 and recently developed a yeast infection last night. A week ago I was prescribed amoxicillin 500mg 3x a day and noticed it gave me a yeast infection. I picked up Walmart example of monistat-1 and was wondering if since it s not the egg, but the cream can I break it up in 2 or 3 pieces? I m just worried about the intense pain and burning I ve read online about it. And also, can I use carmex for relief down there?
