Can I Start Riding Bike Without Covering My Ears And Have Drinks?

Hello Dr,
I am 42 year old male and had a thmpanoplasty surgery almost 40 days back. Currently i am not on any medication and doing good after surgery. My queries are - can i start riding bike without covering my ears and have normal weekend drinks (Liquor).

hello, thanks for query, 42yrs old, 40days post op tympanoplasty , no risk factors like diabetes , finished all medications, doing good , can wait for total 3months. healing total depands on personal hygiene, how u take care by not getting frequent colds(liquors with chilled drinks,water per ear during swimming, exposing to cold climate) .in some after early healing there will be reactivation of infection occur due to this factors and graft may come back. in my opinion u need to wait.all d best.take care.
