Can I Stop Taking Aspavor For Cholesterol?

I am 49 years old woman, i was diognosed with high cholestrol 6 months ago. The dr descibed aspavor 20mg. I have terrible back pain, pain in my leg muscle, i gained 6 kg. after i questioned the side affects, i was diognosed on some one else's tests. Can i just stop using aspavor without problems.

Thanks for your query.
You should consult your doctor on priority and also get your lipid levels checked.
Normally I would stop statin therapy, sometime for a while, if myalgias and fatigue are really troubling my patients. I
If your actual levels are also high and warrant therapy, life style modification can be tried first. Best decision can be taken by your treating physician and you.
