A number years ago due to angina pain I was prescribed to take, aspirin, isobide mononitrate and betaloc. Later, due to gastritis (because of aspirin use), I was notified to stop aspirin and use Plavix. then gastritis was cured. Menwhile, I faced a mild stroke and suddenly rushed to the hospital. I was there only for a day and I was prescribed to stop all early drugs and take, Aspirin, Clopid 75 (clopidogrel) and Atovastatin 20. Now I am taking all these druggs. But, the problem is again, I am suffering from Gastritis due to Aspirin. Now, Can I stop aspirin and instead of can I take Plavix (clopidogrel) 75 and Atovastatin only. Is that sufficient for me to face the current situation or please advice me whether I need to take isobide mononitrate etc. Currently, my sugar level is within the recommended level and my cholesterol level is (both HDL and LDL) below the recommended levels. Thank you.
