Can I Take Doxy-1 L-DR Forte For The Tonsillitis And What Is The Dosage To Be Taken Per Day?

I have tonsillitis and have Doxy -1 L-DR Forte left from malaria prophylaxis last year. They are still in date. I am unable to get to the dr today or pharmacy. Is it ok to take them for tonsillitis and should I take two a day for 5 or 7 days? Thanks

hi, you may continue doxy and see the response. if it doesn't work, you may require a pencillin or cephalosporin. hope this helped.
