Can I Take Eltroxin And Progesterone Tablet During Pregnancy?

Hi i have been taking tablet(eltroxin-100mcg) for hypothyroid for 3 months. this month i checked my pregnancy and its positive. when i checked the gyno doctor(she) i have been prescibed progesterone soft gelatin capsules 200 mg and methylcobalamin, folic acid pyridoxine HCI & DHA CAPSULES for 30 days and i have been taking it for 4 days. my mom had breast cancer. now i am taking the above mentioned pills will it be right or i should not take this during preganancy, please advise . hair fall is also very high nowadays.

Hi, thanks for writing..
Repeat T3,T4 and TSH and alter the dose based on the values. May be you will require a higher dose. Continue all those tablets which your doctor prescribed. It does no harm but it supports your pregnancy. It has nothing to do with breast cancer. Dont worry about hair fall. It is due to hormonal changes. You cant take medication for hair growth now as it is not safe in pregnancy. Eat healthy and drink lots of fluid.. Hope I have answered your query. Good day.
