Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello dear,

Welcome to HCM.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

Benzoyl peroixde will help in reducing pimples but will not help much with pigmentation part.
i usually advise my such patients to use retinoic acid .025% cream or glycolic acid 6% for the pigmentation. Alternatively chemical peel is done by an expert dermatologist.

As per details, this is my best advise. You may discuss this with your dermatologist.
Good luck
