Can I Take Bisolvon Mucolytic While Taking Prednisone For Cold And Cough
Goodmorning. Im jean. I am taking prednisone 10mg 1/2 cap a day after i recieved treatment of radioiodine for my hyperthyroid. But now i also hove cough and runny nose. Iwould like to ask if i can take bisolvon mucolytic while taking prednisone? Thank you

As prescribed for hyperthyroid prednisolone 10 mg , you can take bromhexine ( bisolvon ) .
In fact prednisolone will provide relief in cough and runny nose .
In my clinic when patient visit with cough and runny nose I advise them to take these both medicine for short period ( 3-5 days).
However long use of steroid ( prednisolone ) not advised in cough and runny nose.
So for time being you can take these medicine.
