Hallow Madam,

You were given Misoprostol for terminating your pregnancy. What was the duration of the pregnancy.

Usually, for terminating the pregnancy up to 9 weeks, Initially Tab. Mifepristone is given which is followed by two divided doses of Tab. Misoprostol. This is a very safe and reliable method for termination up to 9 weeks pregnancy, according to WHO.

If this regime fails to effect the termination of pregnancy, it is NOT advisable to continue with the pregnancy. There is a risk of foetal malformation with these medicines. Hence, if your pregnancy is not aborted, please opt for surgical method like suction evacuation for termination of your pregnancy. You do not have any other choice.

I hope you will take this advice seriously.
