Can I Take Steroid Shot For Earache, Swelling While On Taxol For Squamous Cell Carcinoma?

I have an earache and because its the weekend, I started ciprodex drops. I am taking taxol for squamous cell carcinoma. I know I am taking a steroid while on chemo. My question, when I see my ear doctor, can he administer a steroid shot to relieve the swelling? I have had this many times in the past.

i think it is not advisable to take steroids while on chemo. please meet your ent doctor he will give you the appropriate medicines.
