Can I Take Supermet XL For Breathlessness?

hi,my father had some breathing problem this morning ,hes been suffering from htn ,dm scince last 10 years his ecg shows some abnormilties ,docter has prescribed him supermet-xl-25 once in a day,wats the apt time to take this drug morning or evening,kindly help me, thank u very much

does he have any asthma kind of attacks in past or allergic conditions?
if that is the case this medication can cause an attack of asthma/like condition..
if that is not the case don't worry..
it has to be taken in the morning..
if the problem persists immediately approach doctor for change of drug/dose adjustment..
