Can I Take Tranexamic Acid As Well As Norethisterone For Irregular Menses?

I had my second coil fitted in Feb and my periods have been getting worse ever since. I have ended up in a&e plus emergency docs 3 times with severe flooding . After a&e yesterday I was told to take norethisterone 3x day constantly (i.e. no break for a period) but it doesn't seem to be working and am struggling to leave the house. Can I take tranexamic acid as well as norethisterone? Thanks
