Can I Try Conceiving While Taking Methylprednisolone?
We are currently trying trying to conceive. However, last week I injured my back and needed to take 6 days of Methylprednisolone. My last dose was last Wednesday. I should ovulate today or tomorrow. Is it safe to try to conceive this month, given the fact that I had to take this drug? How will the drug affect my cycle?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Methylprednisone is known to cause hormonal disturbances & changes menstrual cycle. Aaprt from this is also predisposes to infections.
Looking at this though no serious effects with a short course of the drug has been reported about bad effects on fetal make up ( while it is being made after fertilization- very early days of conception )- I would advise to wait for a normal ovulating menstruation & try that time,
