Hello jenny;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Nordette is not a emergency contraceptive pill.It is a regular contraceptive pill and in some countries it is misused as an emergency contraceptive pill in high dosage like 4 +4 as you have posted.The result is irregularity of periods;excess untimely bleeding;nausea;vomiting;hormonal disturbance.The high dose may react in a bad way so the better option is that if you are sexually active then please take Nordette as a regular contraceptive in proper cycle of 21 days so that your periods will remain regular as well as there will be no chance of pregnancy.
thanks
