Can I Use Propranolol 40 Mg Tablet To Fight Anxiety?

I am having severe public speaking anxiety .My face blushes and more saliva is secreted.When I am swallowing it is clearly noticed by others.Tears also run in eyes initially.I came to know that propranolol 40 mg tablet may be useful for such acute anxiety situations .Can I use it?

Welcome to HCM.
Propranolol can be used for performance anxiety. You can initially use 20mg. It has to be taken half hour before any public speech. But you must take care that you are not asthmatic, diabetic and your blood pressure shoul be more than 110/70 and pulse not less than 60.
