Can I Wait To Have Surgery For Varicocele After Marriage?
any urologist here? help.. right varicocele pain for more than 3 years hi i m 22 years old, i m suffering from right varicocele since i m 19years old.. The pain is tolerable, about 4 out of 10 (10 is the most painful).. My doctor (general surgeon) suggested me that i can have surgery next time, after marriage if fathering is delay. My doctor also told me that surgery is NOT NECESSARY as of now, so i can wait for more than 5 more years before having surgery. is my doctor right? thanks! :)

Your doctor is absolutely right.
Just because you have varicocele doesnt mean that you have a low sperm count .
You can wait and watch whether this condition has affected your fertility. SURGERY is indicated only if you have severe pain or if you have a low sperm count.If you want to be sure,do a sperm analysis so that you can be relieved of your anxiety.
