Can I Wear Contact Lenses With Dry Eye Syndrome?

Hello, dear Doctor. I have 2 questions regarding eyes. My eyes are -5.75. now I'm wearing -5.50 eye glasses, is it too strong for me? because I feel uncomfortable. also I have redness in my left eye, doctor says it's dry eye syndrome. can I still wear my contact lenses? thanks.

in dry eye syndrome you should not use cotactlens. presently you should apply artificial tear drop. when you are comfortable you can use contact lens for small duration and in between apply artificial tear drop.during this period use your specs.if your refraction is correct then nothing is strong power for you. it is your requirement.
