Can IUD Cause An Increase In Breast Size With Lactation?

I'm 24 year female in the last 3 months I've gonefrom a size 8 to a size 12. I have the mirena iud bit I'm leaking milk. Could this be from the iud? I have had it for 3 years now...or could I be prego? I took a home test its negative. Could the iud not give a good reading? What should I do?

Hello,

The leaking of milk (galactorrhea in medical terms) which you have is not because of the Mirena or pregnancy. Pregnancy with Mirena is not possible. You need to check your serum prolactin levels and have a breast examination first. Do consult a gynecologist as soon as possible.
