Can Ibuprofen Be Taken While On Eliquis?

My father takes 10 mg of Eliquis per day. He is 14 days out from knee replacement and wants to stop taking prescribed hydrocodone because of side effects.His knee pain is considerably less than post surgery and would like to take ibuprofen if needed. Will this cause increased risk of bleeding? Thank you for your help

hi sir/mam,your guess is true.ibuprofen shouldnt be used along with eliquis due to increased bleeding risk.he can have alternative like tramadol with acetaminophen combination safely for pain relief.hope i'm clear.if you have any other queries,please write to us.if you want the list of other medications which are not to be used along with eliquis,please let me know.i would furnish it on your demand.take care.thank you.bye.
