can indomethacin be taken while on hydrocodone. just had knee surgery on nov. 2. hes also on aspirin 325mg.- citalopram 10 mg. valium 2 mg. prn. glipizide 5 mg. bid, levothyroxine 88 mcg.daily, Lisinopril 40 mg.daily metformin 500 mg bid metoprolol tartrate 25 mg daily preservision areds vitimins for eyes, simvastatin 20 mg.daily flomas 0,4 mg daily,

Hello,
Indomethacin does not have any major interaction with hydrocodone and can be taken together. But Indomethacin has significant interactions with other medicines that are being taken.
1)Indomethacin and aspirin combination can increase bleeding risk
2)Indomethacin increase the effect of glipizide
3)Indomethacin can decrease the antihypertensive action of lisinopril and metoprolol
